I am excited to begin work as Program Assistant for the Trust for Land Restoration, assisting Pat Willits and our incredible board.
I made the move to Ouray County in 2013, after teaching elementary, middle and college level mathematics, technology, science and language arts for 31 years in the Montrose Schools. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M. Ed. in Educational Technology. I currently serve as Secretary of the Ouray Trail Group board, maintaining records and communications, including their website and social media presence. Last year I redesigned and now maintain TLR’s website.
Both my husband, Steve Boyle, and I share a passion for the conservation of this beautiful place. We have long admired TLR’s commitment to collaborative land conservation. This is a group that gets the job done!
I look forward to working with our talented board, which includes professionals from environmental consulting, ranching, law, conservation, business, government relations, and public policy. These creative thinkers care deeply about the environment and have chosen to give back by donating time and resources to help the communities TLR serves.
As TLR Program Assistant, my goal is to strengthen the work of this group by lending my organizational and writing skills in support of the Board’s mission of restoration, preservation and protection of significant landscapes in the San Juan Mountains, helping to move the Trust for Land Restoration’s valuable projects forward.
Please feel free to give me a call to discuss TLR’s projects and mission and to learn how you can support our efforts.
